I barely remember Friday night. When I got back from St. Louis, that storm made me sleepy. Saturday I ran errands. Later I watched Ryan Busch take the NASCAR weekend.
Saturday night around midnight some idiot mofo decided to shoot out one of our 2nd floor bedroom windows. Still not sure how that happened. It passed through a screen and a double pane window.
We found a beer bottle in the room, but I don't see how that could've gotten through. Honestly I thought my son did something, but the glass did fall from the outside in...*shrug* I filed a police report and now waiting for the apartment maintenance to board it up or fix it. Yes, I said SATURDAY nigh...
Yesterday was pretty uneventful. Ended the evening with a dip in the pool. Wore a swimsuit I hadn't been able to wear for a couple of years. Yeee haww! LOL
How was your weekend? What'd you do? (Man, I can't wait to get back to the MD/DC/VA area!)

I finally fell asleep around 4 am Sunday morning. I was good yesterday though. After that swim, I got to texting Harmony and fell asleep doing just that.

Weekend was good on this end. It was a work weekend... I left the bike home yesterday at Darryl's urging and I'm so glad I did cause it was NASTY last night (and damn if I didn't see a biker down... well... what was left of his/her bike anyway... my heart broke for whoever it was.)
First of all, I'm glad you and the babies are alright. Keep us posted on things.

As for MY weekend... it was blessed! Went to the celebrity basketball game again this year and AGAIN my young boyfriend (Columbus Short) was there! I told my niece that the dude in the blue jersey with the "1" on his back was her UNCLE!!! So how about when the game was over and the celebs were taking pictures, we caught Columbus on the court and she called him UNCLE!!! It was SOOOOO funny!!! I had a great weekend even though I"ve been fighting a BUG for almost a month now... I seriously believe I have BRONCHITIS (I think ALLERGIES have caused this)!
I taught 2 classes on Saturday at the jewelry store. Brought dinner in and ate it with my Mom.
ReplyDeleteSunday was church, the DVDs from our Gospel Concert are in, so I stayed after church to handle pre-orders and late orders,etc. Went to brunch with Mom and friends after church. Got a call that my Dad was in the hospital AGAIN with cellulitus in his legs. *sigh* Went to see him and talk to the nurses/doctors. Hung out with him until the end of visiting hours, came home and went to SLEEP! At the moment, I'm trying to arrange to get him seen at one of the Wound Care Centers in MD, and talk him OUT of going to Las Vegas this weekend. Parents, I tell ya! LOL!!! I'm so not ready for these roles to be reversed.

It so happened that my oldest was on the floor listening to music and the bottle was just to his right. He did get sprayed with a few shards, but thank God nothing serious!

I"m glad no one was hurt My weekend was pretty eventful.....lots of fun and a whole lot of driving. I also got to attend the NBA 3 on 3 competitions this weekend which was mad cool. Other than that...nothing special
ReplyDeleteHoney, my appointment is TODAY you hear me!!! I’ve been having “issues” for almost a MONTH now! I went to my MAIN doctor a couple of weeks ago and she said that she thought it was ALLERGIES (which I KNOW I have) and to take over the counter meds (Mucinex D and regular Claritin) for two weeks and see if things get better…. Well it was like they got better then it CAME BACK last week!!! So, I’ve been taking Mucinex DM and I’ve been HACKING and such since last Tuesday! I’ve had enough so I’m going to a SPECIALIST today (allergist) and I’m hoping that he can prescribe something that does NOT cost $10,000 to make me better!
ReplyDeleteAnd as far as “RRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIICCCCCCKKKKKY” goes- that’s my SISTER’S HUSBAND and he came last year. How ‘bout Morris came out, had the girls goin’ CRAZY, played like 2 MINUTES in the game, FAKED an injury, left the court and NEVER came back out?!!! I was like “That was some BULLISH!!! They just had him come and SHOW HIS FACE so they could FILL THE SEATS”!!! MY sister was happy though…. *lol*

ReplyDeleteI had a very relaxing weekend for the most part. I just wish the rain would wait til after I finish grilling to start. It threw down sunday while I was still out there. I hate that. Damn lightning ain't no joke.
