It's a Spike Lee Joint
School Daze is my favorite Spike Lee Joint and I really don't have any one absolute favorite scene.
That is my favorite movie of his, too, but I can't think of Spike Lee without thinking about Jungle Fever and Samuel L. Jackson. "Mama, I swear fo God and 4 more white people, this is the last time!" and "Mama, I smoked the color tv". LOL
This one has sooooooo much passion I can hardly stand it:
Harlem Nights - Vera & Benny fussing about the hash & orange juice and Vera visiting Mr Calhoun and I quote, "I'm an honest ho and all my hoes is honest." PRICELESS!!
I posted Love and Basketball below too ! Seriously I hear the damn music and I get emotional. I love that movie. Every second of it. Or should I say quarter :)
And if you try to say that you didnt get up every time you saw this after the first time and tried to do this routine, you lying and you dont luv your Jeeza! lol
My favorite scene is when Troy is combing her little brother's hair, telling him she's not going to let him go outside with his hair "looking like a sheep's behind."
I love this movie. Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteGood and Bad Hair
the scene where the girls sing "I don't want to be alone tonight"
When I say gamma you say punk, gamma, punk, gamma, punk!!!
I honestly enjoyed the whole movie. It was great!!!
